Jim Terrusa, MS, Psychotherapist, Founding Co-Director
Jim has been studying and practicing breathwork as a tool for emotional and spiritual growth for decades. Jim co-created a specific, unique approach to breathwork called Transmutational Breathwork and co-founded TSI with its home base in Jupiter, Florida. His practice includes individuals, couples and group work. Jim has facilitated a men's group for over 9 years and he has lead retreats and trainings around the world for 15 years. His teaching has taken him to Micronesia, Polynesia, North & South America, and the former Soviet Union. He has been studying and researching psychokineosilogy as a powerful tool in both his life and professional practice for over 25 years.

Sari Sack Terrusa, MS, LMHC, Psychotherapist, Founding Co-Director
Recognized as a leading counselor and educator in the South Florida area, Sari began her work in 1981 as a therapist and advocate for handicapped children and their families in the Colorado Public Schools system. This advocacy then led her to becoming project director in 1984 for the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Her work at the Kempe National Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse won her national grant awards. Sari has taught and disseminated this project nationally and internationally. Sari works with womens groups, individuals, couples, children and families. She also teaches and speaks in the community highlighting her innovative, intuitive psycho-spiritual approach.

Holly H. Bennett, LCSW, CAP, CHT, Psychotherapist
Holly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Professional with 20 years of experience. She worked for over ten years at Wayside House, a residential treatment center for chemically dependent women. She is an innovative therapist specializing in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and relationship issues. She has expertise in working with individuals, groups, and families. Holly is a Certified Hypnotherapist trained at The Wellness Institute in Seattle. Hypnotherapy has been an amazing tool to help treat trauma, anxiety, depression and unhealthy behavior patterns. Hypnotherapy reaches these issues at a deep, unconscious level to affect positive, lasting change.

Barbara Farnan, MS, LMHC, Psychotherapist
Barbara is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience providing counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. She is a certified Prepare/Enrich Premarital/Marital Counselor, teaching couples communication and conflict resolution skills. Barbara has worked with adolescents with behavioral problems and their families in a local inpatient treatment center, concentrating on providing conflict resolution, anger management, self-esteem, and communication counseling to these adolescents and families in crisis. Barbara leads seminars and retreats for individuals who are blocked in their process of change and growth to lead them to significant breakthroughs.

Liz Friedman, MAPC, Registered Mental Health Intern
Liz is a Registered Mental Health Intern and the newest addition to the TSI Wellness Center staff. Liz spent the last year with Jupiter Counseling at Stillwater Institute. She provides supportive counseling & therapeutic services to individuals, children & adolescents, families & groups. Liz works with clients in a safe, relaxing environment to co-create a personalized treatment plan that addresses your unique concerns. Liz hopes to provide clients with their own "toolbox" to resolve issues that keep them stuck, gain insight & identify their feelings & thoughts and the impact on their behaviors. Liz assists clients that are experiencing life's challenges including depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, co-dependency, adjustment & transition, bi-polar disorder, dual-diagnosis, parenting, relationships, grief & loss, PTSD & trauma. Liz utilizes a solution-focused approach that includes experiential, cognitive-behavioral, psychoanalytical, mind/body & Bibliotherapy components. Liz is certified in Life Coaching & Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. Liz has attended numerous trainings on Trauma & PTSD, Children & Adolescents, Individuals, Domestic Violence and experiential & cognitive therapeutic interventions.

Jennifer A. Myers, MA, LMT, E-RYT, Yoga Therapist
Jennifer began her yoga studies with Jordan and Martin Kirk in the Anusara style and continues her studies in the tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya: Ashtanga and Iyengar. She is registered with the National Yoga Alliance at the Experienced level, and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Jennifer studied with and is certified by Shakta Kaur Khalsa, founder of the Radiant Child Yoga Program, to bring yoga to all ages. In 2006 she founded Zazen Yoga Therapy. Jennifer is a state licensed massage therapist and is certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, specializing in Thai Yoga Therapy and Barefoot Shiatsu. She is also certified with the American Council on Exercise in functional and rehabilitative fitness and has extensive training in anatomy and physiology, teaching functional and rehabilitative fitness privately since 1999.

Jennifer specializes in strength and flexibility training, balance and fall prevention, emotional and physical stress management, as well as weight management in adolescents and adults. Her own personal journey of health and balance allow her to be an especially empathetic, compassionate teacher and therapist. She conducts workshops in yoga, health promotion, functional fitness, stress management, and anatomy and physiology. In addition to her private yoga therapy practice, Jennifer teaches Personal Training certification for World Instructor Training Schools and leads 200 Hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Training and continuing education. Jennifer is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree with Nova Southeastern University.

Gina Bliton
Gina Bliton is a licensed Acupuncture Physician in Florida.  She specializes in treating digestive problems, stress-related health issues, and mood disorders.  She also specializes in Dermaroller™ Skin Repair for aged, sun-damaged and scarred skin.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and completed a four year Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from the leading acupuncture school in California – Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

Gina became interested in nutrition, then eventually herbal medicine and acupuncture when she experienced a digestive disorder in college.  She was impressed how treatment resolved digestion problems and also provided a powerful calming and de-stressing value.

Gina has worked in Hospice, geriatric clinic and private practice settings.  She uses Traditional Oriental diagnostic methods as well as examining and considering conventional medical history, diagnosis and lab tests. 
Gina takes time and care to advise patients what is occurring within their bodies, and what are appropriate considerations to best take care of their own health naturally.

Jiji Cook
Jiji Cook is a licensed Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida.  She graduated with a Master’s Degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA.
Jiji’s interest in Oriental Medicine started when she was studying Yoga in India.  She received treatments for travel-sickness and discovered the powerful healing ability of Acupuncture.

Some of the most special work she has done was performed at Children’s Hospital, San Diego giving Acupuncture treatments to patients in the cancer and chronic pain wards.  She has continued to gain knowledge and expertise in the specialties of  pediatrics, fertility, and pregnancy health issues.

Jiji managed a private Acupuncture practice in California treating many different conditions including allergies, pain, infertility and pediatrics.  Jiji has now been practicing in Florida for over 2 years.   She is also a certified specialist in Dermaroller™   Collagen Induction Therapy for skin rejuvenation.
