Sari Terrusa is a licensed mental health counselor and registered supervisor who has worked in the field of counseling and education for 25 years and holds two Master degrees. She works with individuals, couples, children/adolescents and families helping guide them through all of life's transitional changes. Sari specializes in anxiety and trauma and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.) and uses many other effective treatment modalities. She is the author of "The Anxiety Breakthrough" program which has proven results in reducing one's anxiety levels. Sari leads Children, Adolescents, Co-Ed, and Women's Groups. She also offers Self-Empowerment classes, Anxiety Reduction Classes, Relationship Seminars, Divorce and Reunification counseling, Group Breath workshops, and Spiritual Retreats. These retreats are an excellent way to see the world, rejuvenate and learn to become connected to your true self.
From your first session with her you can begin to make sense of life again. Your relationship with yourself will become fulfilling as well as your relationships with others. A cognitive, interactive, goal oriented approach is used and practical tools are taught that are designed to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and addictions. Couples therapy includes Imago, and Emotionally focused therapy with an "Attachment" foundation.
